Government is cognizant of the fact that only a healthy Nation can achieve a prosperous future for Pakistan. It is ultimately an individual whose state of mental, physical and psychological well being can result in a healthy and a dynamic Nation, Realizing this pre-requisite, our government is vigorously pursuing the goal of HEALTH FOR ALL set forth by WHO under auspices of our National Health policy, Our government is providing the health care services to people at their doorsteps through a well coordinated and cohesive district health care system throughout the country, Majority of people living in rural areas are given health care services through basic health units and rural health centers. Referral services are being provided to people through district and teaching hospitals.

It is the prime responsibility of the Worker Welfare Fund (WWF), Ministry of Human Resource Development to ensure the health status of Industrial workers so that they can play their role in the socio-economic development of the country. With this objective, WWF is providing health services to industrial workers and their families all over the country through a network of hospitals,wards and dispensaries established in different cities of the country. Serious cases are treated in collaboration with major hospitals and social security setups, working parallel to provide health care to industrial workers.
