Matric-Tech Project

Introduction

Matric-Tech project is fully funded by Workers Welfare Fund. Workers Welfare Fund, has sixty plus schools and increasing their number during next years. The project aims to provide basic technical training / Skills to the youth at matric level in their schools which may help them to start a better career. The long term objectives are to introduce skill applications and provisions of appropriate training thereof enabling youth to have knowledge about the technology and chose their future course of studies.

Due to large-scale emigration of skilled worker and increased development pace in the country, there is a shortage of skilled labour force in the country the introduction of Matric-Tech education in WWB schools will enable students to have know how about skills and enhance the capability of school pass outs to opt their future course of studies. Skilled workers will also be able to pursue employment/ self-employment.it will also reduce unemployment in the area and will be a step towards reduction in poverty. Resultantly per capita income will increase economic condition of the area as well the country.

Aims of Matric-Tech Project

·         To introduce Matric-Tech /G-III level education in the Workers Welfare Schools.

·         To Impart training in employable skills in class 9th and 10th.

·         To create know how about vocational skills.

·         To enable the students to opt for better employment/self-employment.

·         To contribute in reducing poverty.
